Where to Find a Cheap Playstation 3 (PS3)?

Due to the economy taking a tumble, and taking me along with it, I need to shop smart and cheap during this troublesome period. I have other consoles, but I've still been eager to get my hands on a Playstation 3, or I should say a cheap playstation 3. Something that has at least 120-250 GB storage, and not much wear and tear (if I buy it used).

PlayStation 3 160GB System
Amazon Price: $241.00
List Price: $249.99
PlayStation 3 320GB System
Amazon Price: $255.00
List Price: $299.99
PS3 320GB Uncharted 3 Bundle
Amazon Price: $289.99
List Price: $299.99

A Stroll Through Amazon

When I went to the Amazon site, where I usually find great deals on lots of products (including electric shavers), I found that a PS3 with 120 GB storage was only $249, which is roughly $50 cheaper than buying it brand spanking new. Just as long as it worked and was in good condition, I was good to go.

I also saw a PS3 with the 250 GB storage capacity for $299 (used), which goes for $400 brand new. That's a savings of $100, that's 1/4 of the cost off. Not too bad either. They have a PS3 with the 80 GB, but I'm not going too far backwards here. Besides, it was about $230, and I would be willing to spend just a tab bit more to get a lot more storage space.

Finding it on Ebay?

I've always been skeptical with Ebay, I've usually had much better results finding things on Amazon, and for some reason I've always had a bit more trust in using Amazon as well. But still, none-the-less, I'm going to venture into Ebay and find PS3's for cheap.

If I were to compare between what I found on Ebay with that of my findings on Amazon, I would probably just stick with Amazon. The prices were about the same, a PS3 with 120 GB storage was going for $250, which if you look at the price I found on Amazon, it's basically the same thing.

Verdict!

I'm going with the PS3 with the 120 GB on Amazon. It's more than enough storage space, and it's a cheap and efficient cost. Usually I would buy this type of thing new, but since my goal is to save money, I'm going this route instead.
