Facebook, Over 2,060,000,000 Searches Per Month

Did you know that Facebook is now more visited than Google? I bet you didn't know that, it's true! Facebook has overtaken Google as the most visited site on the internet! On Google alone, it has over 2,060,000,000 searches done per month from what the Global Monthly Search Volume tells me on Google Adwords.

This is only talking about what is coming from Google, what about the other search engines? It's hard to predict the combined amount of people from all over the world typing in various search engines, as well as directly typing it in to exactly gauge how much traffic they are getting, but I bet you can make a solid guess that it's a lot!

The cost of the site I found after comparing various websites that have the website estimate calculator, which is usually based on various rankings on the internet, such as Alexa. I wouldn't say this is entirely accurate, but it's fun to view a ballpark or a what-if yardstick to see what it could be. We all know that Facebook is worth well over a billion dollars, and I have no doubt that if it was ever sold it would probably go for billions at this point due to the shear size and scope of it.

The searches per month are pretty much accurate, because that comes from Google's Adwords tool that is used to see how many people type in various search terms. This is also set on the phrase and not set on broad for filtering criteria, which helps with the estimate. But, like I said, it doesn't take into account everyone who visits Facebook from other search engines!
